When you’re eloping, especially outdoors or off-the-grid, packing intentionally is key to making your day smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable. Whether you’re hiking to a lake, staying at a cozy Airbnb, or heading into the forest with just your partner and a vow book, what you bring matters.
As an elopement photographer who’s witnessed everything from barefoot ceremonies in the woods to windswept vow exchanges on cliffs, I’ve created this guide to help you pack smart, and stay fully present on your day.

When you’re eloping, your day should feel relaxed and deeply you. Having a thoughtful packing list helps eliminate last-minute stress so you can focus on what truly matters: the love, the connection, and the freedom of it all.
I send all my couples a personalized packing list based on their location, timeline, and season, but this general guide is a great place to start.
If you’re planning an intentional, nature-rooted elopement and want guidance every step of the way, including what to bring, I’d love to connect. Reach out here to get started.
